On the eve of the 2011 Major League Baseball All Star Game, Jared Hayes' Poetry All Stars played Andy Peterson's Poetry All Stars in a Disembodied Fantasy League Baseball Game. Each coach selected outrider poetry favorites for team rosters. The plays and game outcomes were dictated by playing cards from Harry's Grand Slam Baseball Game, a strategy game originally released in 1962, similar to league commissioner Jack Kerouac's imaginative fantasy baseball games. The game was overseen by umpire Louis Zukofsky, Ted Berrigan was the announcer, and each team shared 1st/3rd base coaches Anne Waldman & Allen Ginsberg.

Jared's All Stars beat Andy's All Stars, 19-8.
