Artist's Statement:

I have a habit of anthropomorphizing the objects around me. It’s how I engage the world and how I connect to my own spirituality in a tangible way. As a result, my images are frozen moments of these dialogs, rather than literal representations of the character of things.

Music also plays a large role in my life. Living in Brooklyn, I curate my daily soundtrack as I walk through the streets. While on my journeys, I realized my love for percussion and have since began learning to play the drums. Those rhythms have infected my work in such an unexpected but natural way and has added another dimension to how I perceive my art.
